Following a major £400,000 refurbishment, the Verulamium Spa Retreat at Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre has been transformed into a premium thermal spa offering for the local community. Working alongside Everyone Active and St Albans City & District Council, DaleSauna was proud to supply and install a range of specialist wellness facilities that combine innovative design with reliable commercial performance.

The aim of the project was to modernise the existing spa facilities and create a high-quality thermal experience that would enhance the leisure centre’s wellness offering.

The Grand Brighton

As part of a £16.2 million refurbishment, the iconic Grand Hotel Brighton has unveiled a luxurious new spa and fitness suite, alongside fully refurbished guest rooms and revitalised public areas — reaffirming its position as one of the UK’s leading seaside hotels.

Project Overview

Working within the hotel’s historic basement — formerly home to the original swimming pool — DaleSauna was entrusted to design and install the complete range of thermal experiences and pool facilities. The result is a serene and contemporary wellness destination that blends modern luxury with the Grand’s timeless elegance.

Collaboration

This project was delivered in close partnership with Leonardo Hotels and Garuda Design, with installation completed by DaleSauna’s in-house contracts team and The Konstruct Group. The new spa will be led by Spa Manager Nicole Warin, and is set to open to guests soon.
